PRMIA Board of Directors - Place Your Nomination

On behalf of the PRMIA Nominating Committee, we invite you to nominate future board members to continue our support and service to the community with its important mission. A healthy and active board of directors is critical to achieve our goals on behalf of our by-members, for-members volunteer organization.

The 2025 PRMIA Board nominations process is now open for submissions through January 27, 2025. There are two positions up for election:

  • 1 Americas representative
  • 1 APAC representative

PRMIA needs board members who are committed to improving PRMIA’s visibility, content, and finances. This will require considerable time on the part of a board member. In addition to attending the board meetings and committees as assigned, the board member is expected to increase the visibility of PRMIA in the financial community and encourage sponsorship of PRMIA.

Should you desire to add your voice, experience, and commitment to the board, please raise your hand and submit your nomination. We also encourage you to search your professional network to identify those who meet the qualities sought in the new board of 2025. The qualities sought reflect a strategy to have a diversified mix, so the board overall is a representative body. This year there is a preference for risk management practitioners, especially those who have the time and resources to deliver and actively participate. As always, we prefer Sustaining members and are seeking to grow membership, sponsorship, and learning and development opportunities.

These nominations also serve to help us build a bench of board candidates. So, while there may not be an opportunity for board service this year, the candidates will learn the qualities and process, preparing them for future years.

The PRMIA Board of Directors has documented the qualities that will support our dynamic strategy and guide Nominating Committee candidate endorsements. We seek candidates who can extend board capabilities and fervently drive our strategic objectives of increasing value to members and the broader community.

    Nominations Process
Interested candidates may nominate themselves, or members of the community may nominate someone. The Nominating Committee reviews nominations to define the ballot. Additionally, individuals may have themselves added to the ballot through a different petition process (see bylaws link on the resources page: http://www.prmia.org/service).
